Andrew “Drew” Respess is an associate in the firm’s New Orleans office where his areas of practice include Corporate Transactions, Insurance Defense, and Maritime and Admiralty law.

Drew graduated summa cum laude from Millsaps College, where he was a four-year letterwinner for the baseball team while earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Drew went on to receive his Master’s degree in Business Administration, where he was named the Charles H. Sewell award winner for being the top graduate in his class. Drew then attended Tulane University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor degree with a certificate in Sports Law. For two years, Drew served as the co-coordinator and co-chair of the National Baseball Arbitration Competitions. He was also a member of the Moot Court’s Alternative Dispute Resolution team.

While at Tulane, Drew clerked for the New Orleans Saints and National Basketball Retired Players Association. Drew also spent a summer in Los Angeles, California, as a legal intern for the Los Angeles Angels. Due to his extensive background in business and sports, Drew commits himself to practicality, teamwork, and client-oriented success.

Drew is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and New Orleans Bar Association.
