Barry Dubinsky understands that success comes when the client’s needs are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Having tried close to forty first chair state and federal cases in his career, Barry has developed the skills to successfully try cases and the knowledge to recognize when to counsel for a resolution that minimizes the risks inherent in litigation.

Barry was born in Queens, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California. He moved back to Florida to be closer to his family and became licensed in Florida in October, 1986. Barry is also licensed in all of the Florida Federal Courts as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Barry’s primary practice areas include first party property damage litigation, premises liability, automobile litigation, general liability and casualty, as well as construction litigation, trucking litigation, and products liability.

Prior to his employment at Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, APLC, Barry was a senior attorney for seven years at the defense law firm Johnson Law Group in Boca Raton, Florida.  Jeffrey Johnson, the firm’s founder, recently served as the President of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. The FDLA is among the largest defense lawyer organizations in the State of Florida. Prior, Barry was a senior associate at the Florida statewide defense law firm Conroy, Simberg, Ganon, Krevans and Abel, P.A.

Barry is a certified instructor of insurance education in the State of Florida. He has lectured to thousands of claims professionals regarding a variety of topics. Also, he volunteers as a mentor with the program Taking Stock with Children.  Currently, Barry’s mentee is in tenth grade at Boca Raton High School having started with Barry while attending the seventh grade. The program provides the mentee with a Florida pre paid college scholarship on the condition that the mentee fulfills a variety of requirements including earning good grades and staying out of trouble. In addition, Barry has mentored a law school student and volunteered with Boca Helping Hands (which feeds the homeless) and Habitat for Humanity. Finally, Barry enjoys spending time with his family and playing and managing in a local softball league.
