Jason is an experienced litigator who handles cases in both state and federal court. He is licensed to practice in both Florida and Louisiana, and has tried cases before judges and juries across both states. He also has successfully argued cases before several of Louisiana’s appellate courts.

After graduation, Jason was a prosecutor in Miami-Dade county. During that part of his career, and in addition to obtaining a significant amount of jury trial experience, he developed comprehensive investigatory skills, which he now brings to his civil law practice. As a result, he understands that a targeted investigatory approach, through early fact and witness development, is the most effective means for efficiently resolving litigation for his clients. If, however, a case needs to proceed to trial, he is prepared with an extensive history of trial experience.

Jason’s current practice involves defending companies and insurers in personal injury, commercial, construction, and insurance coverage litigation. He has cross-examined hundreds of fact, expert, and medical witnesses, and become versed in the various technical aspects of his clients’ operations and the medical nuances of claims when personal injuries are involved.

Outside of his legal practice, Jason is also involved in the Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce, which promotes business development and relationships throughout Jefferson Parish. He has served on the Chamber’s Young Professionals Steering Committee for several years, and is currently the co-chair of the community involvement sub-committee.

Jason was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2015 and 2016.
