Lindsay Meador Young’s primary area of practice is general litigation, including insurance defense, insurance coverage, premises liability, and family law. Her family law practice is comprised of divorce and dissolution, prenuptial agreements, child custody and support, and division of assets/liabilities.

Lindsay is from Abbeville, Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor degree in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. After receiving her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, Lindsay moved back to Acadiana.

Lindsay is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts and is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association, Lafayette Bar Association, and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.

Lindsay Meador Young was awarded the 2010 Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Pro Bono Award for her extensive pro bono work in the Lafayette community and the 2011 Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers Outstanding Attorney Award. In addition, Lindsay was named Super Lawyers Rising Star 2016. She also serves on the Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers Committee for the Lafayette Bar Foundation and on the executive board of the Lafayette Young Lawyers’ Association.
