Madeline is a graduate of the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana having received both her Juris Doctor degree and a Graduate Degree in Comparative Law. In law school, Madeline was an Associate member of the Journal of Energy Law Review. She also clerked for Judge Antony Marabella at the 19thJudicial District Court in Baton Rouge and spent time working for the Baton Rouge Office of Public Defenders. After graduating, Madeline joined Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr and Smith as an associate in the New Orleans office.

Madeline was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Madisonville, Louisiana before moving to The Woodlands, Texas with her family. She attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where she studied business and was an officer in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Madeline graduated cum laude from the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Commerce. Madeline had experience as a “land man” and traveled around the country to secure oil and gas leases before she felt called to the law and to return home to Louisiana.

Madeline is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Louisiana. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Louisiana. Madeline is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association.
