Steven represents companies of all shapes and sizes in civil litigation and transactional matters. His litigation practice ranges from insurance defense to IT professional liability, information security, and related-commercial disputes, while his transactional practice focuses on cybersecurity and e-commerce.

He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/U.S. He also regularly writes and presents on tech-related legal issues, in addition to being an active member of several organizations that concentrate on the intersection between technology and the law.

Before joining Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr, and Smith, he served as an assistant attorney general in the Litigation Division of the Louisiana Department of Justice, in addition to working for the Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and a regional lobbying firm that focused on professional licensing and technologies legislation.
