Timothy G. Byrd, Jr. is an Associate in the Mandeville office of Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith. Timothy’s practice focuses primarily in commercial, maritime, insurance defense, and insurance coverage litigation.  Timothy is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Timothy received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana Tech University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a scholarship member of the NCAA men’s golf team.  Timothy received his M.B.A. from Louisiana Tech University College of Business.  After business school, Timothy attended LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he graduated with his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law.

Following law school, Timothy clerked for the Honorable Clayton Davis and the Honorable Robert Wyatt in the 14th Judicial District Court.  This experience allowed Timothy to gain invaluable insight into successful courtroom strategies and persuasive writing techniques.
